ABOUT ME

Lucy Nicholson is a Newcastle based illustrator with over ten years of freelance commission experience. Graduating from NOSA in 2024, she has went on to further her freelance career, working with a variety of clients on projects from illustrative zines, book covers and indie game concept art.

 

Her work outside of commissions is largely inspired by traditional portraiture techniques combined with a twist of the strange and bizarre. Her passion for horror movies and vintage pop culture shines through in her illustrative style, bringing an expressive, rough hewn narrative voice to each illustration.
